Incident Prototype 01
Spoilers ahead! You have been warned.
I really racked my brain trying to solve this one, but the solution ended up being given out by a Senior Technician. // OOC: I don't know if there's an intended solution here, but I doubt it. //
The password is ROGUE_AI. Fairly insecure, certainly not something I'd ever allow someone to use. Though it seems the VSA has some lacking OPSEC when it comes to personnel having loose tongues.

PROTOTYPE was delivered to Exclusionary Site-04 under sealed transport and arrived in a non-functional state. Initial intake revealed damage consistent with shipping stress, including unsecured exterior panels, minor structural warping, and degradation across several hydraulic systems. An additional incident report (refer to LOGISTICS-DEFENSE-REPORT-1192 for further details) reveals that the transport carrying PROTOTYPE was attacked by [[Resilience]] members while en-route to Exclusionary Site-04.
During inspection, it was determined that PROTOTYPE's self-repair nexus had been physically disconnected. It is assumed that during the attack on logistics convoy, multiple parts came loose. At approximately T+05:40, PROTOTYPE was brought online by Experimental Sciences staff for the first time under controlled conditions. Core cognitive and motor functions responded within acceptable parameters, but multiple subsystems remained degraded or offline. A full damage assessment conducted after activation revealed that transport-related failures were much more extensive than originally anticipated.
Due to the scope of the damages and time constraints, research staff authorized reconnection of the self-repair nexus and granted PROTOTYPE limited autonomy to perform corrective actions and repairs. The nexus initialized successfully and began repair routines without incident. PROTOTYPE reported that its structural integrity had returned to 100% and full limbic function was re-established.
Basic operational testing commenced shortly thereafter, but was interrupted by a two-man Resilience incursion. The Resilience members sabotaged the facility's power systems, resulting in a localized blackout. In response to the incursion, PROTOTYPE activated its firearms matrix and engaged the hostile forces and eliminated them with minimal difficulty. However, PROTOTYPE sustained additional damage during the engagement. Post-combat diagnostics indicated IFF software corruption and a secondary failure of the self-repair nexus, which ceased functioning entirely.
Following the engagement, PROTOTYPE failed to enter standby mode and its combat systems remained operational. The degradation of the IFF software due to the additional damage sustained during combat with Resilience forces was deeper than expected. PROTOTYPE began exhibiting extremely hostile behavior towards VSA personnel. Planetfall Infrantry who had deployed to combat the Resilience threat found themselves facing off with PROTOTYPE and began to suffer severe losses. PROTOTYPE began slaughtering personnel within the facility, regardless of whether or not they were hostile. COHORT ZERO-THREE, Oernpure Wnpx Jbysr, and three COHORT ONE operatives were deployed to take down PROTOTYPE.
COHORT ONE was unable to properly contain PROTOTYPE. It wasn't until COHORT ZERO-THREE successfully neutralized PROTOTYPE by utilizing a heavy caliber Light Machine Gun that the threat was contained. PROTOTYPE is surprisingly resilient and despite sustaining heavy damage, is still intact. PROTOTYPE is not expected to return to operational status for a minimum of twenty-four hours, pending further evaluation and software updates.
Running the ciphered text Oernpure Wnpx Jbysr through a ROT13 cipher reveals that Breacher Jack Wolfe was one of the operatives deployed.
So The Prototype isn't ALPHA then. ALPHA can't be contained that easily. That leaves two candidates: ATLAS, and Helios. Though it's unlikely to be Helios as Helios seems to be entirely constructed here. Given the Prototype was shipped in externally, it's likely part of Project ATLAS.
All that is assuming that "Exclusionary Site-04" Refers to where we currently are; but assuming it isn't, why is this log in our archives? This is contradicted by the fact that Incident False Start describes the location as Kryos - Sublevel Portal Room, but I don't see a world where this "Site-04" isn't at least tangentially related to our current location.
