Portal

The portal links Kryos to Headquarters, and is the primary means of transportation on and off planet (/into Zone Nadir?). The portal is likely how ALPHA arrived at the facility and is restricted to personnel with an unknown, but likely high, clearance level.

There's probably something about Zone Nadir's unique properties that allows this portal to exist. Anything more than that is beyond my scientific capabilities.
