Today's the day. The deadline. Something important will happen, I just don't know who will come out on top.
The rangers have admitted that people will die -- not that it should be a surprise to anyone at this point.
The room that ALPHA was hiding in... there aren't any vents. But there's a large vertical channel, too far in either direction to judge distance but certainly too far to be natural. What purpose is there to blasting a channel like this? It's clearly an old cell block but why was it walled off?
The art on the wall. It's enticing. Who painted it? Why did they paint it? Did ALPHA do it? That'd imply that ALPHA has artistic intent, that ALPHA maintained enough humanity to express itself. The media used is another question, but arguably less important. Rosario theorises that ALPHA made it, and that it displays ALPHA before the Project ATLAS experiments.
With all this taken into account, I believe that ALPHA was not a clone. ALPHA was the original, and the rest of the ATLAS experiments were clones of them.
Something is happening in the Containment Zone. Three researchers stood staring at Raiden wordlessly. They ran here in a hurry, but why? They "don't remember" being here? They're talking about music? Music from the "ghost room." There's something bigger at play here.
Raiden is hearing voices, which I'd chalk up to stress if not for the greater narrative at play.
I got caught. Whatever they think is causing these disturbances, they don't want us surveyors to know about it.
There's something in their heads? That must be what's causing it. I can't get close enough to discover more.
I saw something. A figure, changing shape. Others didn't see it. It must be the coffee. I ought to talk to someone at medical about it, but they're seemingly always busy with something.
Helios is in HQ, being worked on by Dr. Whitmore. Can't say I'm surprised, they proved its viability and now they're making the full product.
Shanyang told Sierra-1 about three eyes and it became aggressive. Is Sierra-1 not the entity causing this pattern to manifest? Interesting. Taiko saw three eyes and a house, as well as the message "Just Another Day?" It's playing with us. They haven't yet decrypted what it said, and I doubt I'll get access to that information before then.
"The natives of Kryos aren't happy with VSA here." That practically proves it. The Resilience are the natives of this planet. "The beating heart of Kryos isn't the core. It's the people." An apparent motto of theirs? I suppose it's a valiant cause to some degree, but unfortunately futile. I doubt the natives will ever be able to match the might of the VSA.
"You'll find out soon enough. You will be surveying lands." -- They're planning to use us now that ALPHA is dealt with. I suppose at least there'll be something to do, a distraction from... everything I suppose. Part of me wants to attain a job here, something to keep me safe from whatever the VSA have planned; but I must admit I do enjoy the thrill of hunting secrets.
